Dude, survival of the fittest is history, I mean literally. No offense to anyone, if survival of the fittest is still effective, then we shouldn't be seeing people with disabilities pass their prime time. And worst, stupid people. Well, unless they're very pretty then that's another case.
Look at the people on the street, how many of them can be considered as not stupid? It's really not a world of survival of the fittest anymore. Rather it's more like survival of luckiest. Unless you're a quantum physic geek then that's another story.
HK's education is bad, but the worst is probably its mainstream TV programs. Stupid low quality soap operas and stupid game shows that entertains the brains which people are sitting on. If you're really concern about their education, which I hope you and everyone do, I really think you should start thinking about the TV shows.

@Anon: agreed in general and I'm no palaeontologist, not going to write a paper on that.
Only in these two particular case... stupid people got caught, got hurt -> no chance of procreation (let's hope) -> no chance to pass along the traits -> end of story haha.
