不過，噚日因為工作關係，要去到一間公司canteen食午飯。好彩，呢個canteen係 由大家樂集團（341）嘅子公司管理，所以仲有佢哋嘅旗艦產品，「一哥焗豬扒飯」可以揀。去到canteen嘅時候，咁啱撞到香港女性典範，隔籬理財版《敏妮talk》嘅溫敏妮。
見到靚女，孫柏文嘅自然反應，當然係走去媾媾佢。點知，就見 到溫敏妮手腕好似有事，佢話係肌肉勞損，我諗分分鐘係Carpal Tunnel Syndrome。佢仲話，自己已經成為《鹿鼎記》裏面嘅「獨臂神尼」，不過係現代版，「獨臂敏妮」。面對港女，我當然步步為營，所以都冇膽讚敏妮佢連自 嘲都「好港女」咁毒。叫自己「獨臂神尼」，唔通話自己不但四肢不齊，仲要攻擊港女死穴，話自己好似啲尼姑咁，嫁唔出？
試吓新嘢？！
敏妮同我就一齊排隊，去到收銀機，我話要「一哥焗豬扒飯」，點知，個收銀哥哥話冇「一哥焗豬扒飯」，淨係得「一哥焗雞扒飯」。
What？焗雞扒飯？我問佢點解，佢話公司想試吓啲新嘢。
乜話？攞旗艦產品試吓新嘢？
就好似將《蘋果日報》嘅風月版，變成畀「同志」睇，唔係話冇市場，不過市場真係細好多。
講真，冇焗 豬扒飯嘅真正原因，係因為canteen同敏妮嘅公司，有價格管制協議。焗豬扒飯成本之一嘅豬肉，價錢上升時，又不能轉嫁畀消費者，就當然會出現計劃經濟 當中最常見嘅短缺問題。豬肉喺特區，都係因同一問題出現短缺，養豬成本節節上升，不過豬農又不能轉嫁成本畀五豐行，咁就當然唔供應。
仲係能源概念股？
養豬其中一個最大嘅成本，就係飼料。而因為豬肉係我哋中國人不可缺少嘅食物，為減低豬肉價，祖國政府一定希望見到飼料價格下跌。所以孫柏文一向對祖國「糧食變能源」概念股，存有戒心。好似中國糧油（606），話雖然國家宣佈停止所有新嘅「提煉乙醇」計劃，中糧啲計劃唔知可唔可以繼續。今日我就放長雙眼，睇吓中糧可唔可以繼續煉乙醇，仲可唔可以叫自己做能源概念股。

ReplyDelete好多快餐店的雪藏豬扒都係巴西或美國來貨，尤其大家樂D豬扒咁大件，一D都唔似我地街市買到D祖國來貨咁既樣，擺明係來路野。
雪藏豬扒儲存幾個月都冇問題，即係有穩定貨源，唔會受到新鮮貨短缺影響。
你地報館咁多資源，應該去Find out 下真實來源地，或者來貨價格有冇影響，好過而家咁斷估冇辛苦。

Pork is a global market.
ReplyDeleteUS/Brazilian Pork in HK is a good substitute to chinese pork. High cross elasticity.
Therefore if one becomes scarce, those substitutes will rise in price.
Just because you have inventory on hand (which by the way, in the age of just in time delivery, is becoming increasingly obsolete) doesn't mean that you will run it down using at cost accounting.
So before you say we didn't do our home work over at apple daily, you could think it through first.

Finally on ethanol.
It is shit.
Ethanol is cheaper than gasoline per litre in the US, because the oil refineries keeps getting off line (huge profit margin for them) and also because of federal govt subsidies.
BUT ethanol's per litre energy is lower than gasoline. So on a per joules calculation ethanol is still more expensive than gasoline. = )

ReplyDeleteMy friend, you are talking about Elasticity of fresh pork chop. Instead, it's the US & Brazilian Frozen pork chop vs Chinese Fresh pork Chop.
No fast food shop will consume fresh pork chop, only general consumers will. If general consumers could not afford expensive fresh pork chop, I bet they will prefer fresh beef and chicken to Brazilian frozen pork chop. Do you know any end consumers eating Brazilian frozen pork chop ? I don't.
Also because fast food shop never use fresh pork chop, there is no substitute, no cross elasticity of demand !

If you are Cafe de Coral, I am sure you will not import Frozen Pork Chop every day. That means you (or the distributor) will have inventory for weeks if not months.
Bear in mind that frozen pork chop (not the whole pig) has much lower volume-to-price ratio (new economic term ?) and hence relatively lower cost to stock.
The shortage of fresh pork only lasted for one week and is now nearly back to normal. The inventory of frozen pork chop(though I mentioned that it's not a substitue of fresh pork)could certainly cover this one week of shortage.
So u really do believe that Cafe de Coral changed their flag ship product, because they felt like it?

ReplyDeleteHi Man, it's Apple Daily's work to find out why Cafe de Coral do not sell the No. 1 Pork Chop. Personally, I don't like their No.1 Pork Chop. The best way (descending preference) to make pork cuisine are:
1。 炒
2。 煎
3。 炸
4。 焗 (worst cooking to spoil the taste and thus worst pork is used)
