Yesterday, Hank Paulson has already signaled that the Plunge Protection Team (PPT) is ready to do something.
As of right now, the US Dollar index has broken through 80... 79.93 ...
I am just worried, if there are a concerted effort organized by the PPT with global central banks to rescue the USD. Gold and Silver might get whacked.

ReplyDeletePPT is doing their job?USD rebounded,but I beleive Jap gov doesn't want Yen too strong,weak Yen is benefical for japan's interest.

Anyhow, the PPT (or maybe the tech funds) came in and started buying USD.
Which led to a shake out in gold and silver. Which seems to continue.
