「楷,I'm your father。」

  2. Never under estimate the length fans of sports are willing to subject themselves to in order to watch live.

    But I will say this.

    1. Screen size small =/= hard to watch a long time.

I think the video iPod and PSP pretty much disproved this theory.

    2. Content is worthless.

    Football, movies... 2 words

Youtube (for non live events that needs storage)
PPstream (for live events that needs simultaneous viewing by a lot of people)

As for funny SMS in China that makes money, well, the mobile operators in Hong Kong was never interested in this kind of traffic. And anyways, "funny sms" is content too... therefore, worthless. Worthless not because it does not have value, but worthless because you can not protect its intellectual property.

All content has to find an alterntive income model.

Finally, PMP? All I can say is that in a EoIP (everything over Internet Protocol) world, there is only one killer app for 3G or whatever mobile digital communication network. And that is Internet access.

Mobile operators should shove their MBA books up their ass, Wake up, Face reality, and understand that they are selling a commodity product (internet access). And appreciates that any attempt "to value add" for users will destroy value for shareholders.

Be lean, be mean, be the lowest cost carrier.

But thanks for your questions. How about yourself Daniel, what do you think about this? The future of mobile telephony/content communication.
